* this review was made on United Bank, Front Royal Branch at Front Royal, VA * this reviewer has be with this bank for >10 years Please train your employees how to treat your customers and how to count money! That confused look on her face made me wonder if I should trust my money in this bank? After depositing the entire check she told me I could get money out of my savings or checking … just forget it I’ll go to the ATM…. I was told I couldn’t get any money back from the check the whole check had to be deposited with a seven day hold, even though I had way over the whole amount of the check in my savings and way over the $300 in my checking….this just didn’t make sense to me.
On the deposit slip I wanted to receive $383.89 back from the check. It seems the rules change depending on the tellers working that day! I went to deposit a large check, the amount totally confused the teller. I have been with United Bank from the beginning when it switched over from Marathon Bank.
